Sal Giarratani

   Sal Giarratani started writing for the Post Gazette back in 1974 during the anti-busing crisis and started writing as a Columnist in 1983. Originally a political columnist, he has now branched out doing more columns including a baseball column that has caught on since starting in 2006.

   Sal has worked for the State Dept of Mental Health since 1972 and has been a police officer for the DMH Police Dept. since 1985.

  Sal has a daughter Nealia who attends

Northeastern University. Sal graduated from Boston State College back in 1972. Sal loves to write!!
