Hilda M.
Morrill, columnist and feature writer, has been writing
for the Post-Gazette since 1991, when former "Socially
Set" columnist, John L. Brenner, suggested she submit an
article. She began by doing freelance photography and
occasional gardening features and reviews. On September
24, 1993, shortly after John passed away, Hilda began
writing "The Socially Set" column on a weekly basis with
occasional lifestyle features.
